Hi!! I have no idea where you can get a chinchilla pattern, but I think it would be soooo cute!! They are really little dollys, aren't they. Hey, Silver, any ideas? I thought of you right away when I saw this question. Hang in there, Velvadawn, I'm sure somebody will have some information for you

Hiyas Velvadawn ans Marji,
I will confess, when I saw this request I went on a quest to find such a design for you and found none. I have a number of online 'friends' with Chins, as Marji can tell you, and I love the little 'fuzz balls' myself so I was motivated...
I do have a few Chin images but I need to know what sort of design you are looking for... realistic, 'icon-ized', cartoon-ish?? I am not really able to take on a highly detailed project right now BUT if you are willing to test sew it out I will be willing to try a basic design for you.... I will tell you it might take me several attempts to get it 'just right'.
What do you say?
If this sounds good then let me know:
What sort of machine do you have?
What frame size (design size) you are wanting to work within?
What kind of fabric are you sewing it on?
What sort of design do you want?

I am always happy to help other embroiderers but I have to ask a couple of questions.. please do not take offense. I certainly do not mean it that way.
Is it for commercial purposes or your personal own use? I see that you have an ID associated with what sounds like a Chinchilla 'ranch'. Do you raise them for pelts or pets? I am associated with a Chinchilla Rescue Group and if it is for pelts I would never be forgiven if I did a 'logo' for you....
You can post the image here or, in addition, send me a private message through this forum as well. For the paw prints you will need a simple image file (single color, cartoon-like) of them.
Like I mentioned, you would need to test sew them. I am a bit overwhelmed with chores at the moment... not just with embroidery projects, kids who are out of school and in need of 'motivation' all day long but I also rescue wild birds. With all the storms we have been having orphaned babies are literally raining from the sky. I just have little spare time.
Also, our machines are very different and I do not want to help you with a design that is not workable for you. I will need you to test sew the pattern and let me know why and how it might not work for you. If you are willing to help... I will do the best I can.
Thanks
Silver |
