My HP PC failed several weeks back and I'm still waiting for HP to provide me a replacement or repair my PC. In the meantime I've lost access to my digitizing software. I have some mini-quilt projects started that I need text digitized to embroider. I'm hoping someone out there might be willing to do some simple digitizing for me.

I'm flexible for font & size, but looking for something cute & stylish to go in the center of a mini quilt that will have a center frame size max of 8x8"

I can accept ART or PES format in my machine (more once I get my SW working on a new or repaired PC).

Text strings I'm looking to get digitized to help finish current projects are:

- I Love you!

- Forever in my heart

- I'll always love you!

I'm visualizing something that would stitch out in an area of ~4x6" so that it would be quite visible on a mini quilt/wallhanging. Each text would be a different design.

I will post some samples.
They have NOT been test sewn yet!
after the name of the phrase in the design is the font name. I am using standard proportions. Fonts can be set stretched as well.
Let me know in more detail what you want. I can digitize almost any Microsoft TTF font that I have. Some sew out better than others. Let me know how to arrange the lettering as well...

NOT test sewn yet!
Try them first on scrap. Watch thread tensions and hooping.
I used some fonts that I have been fairly successful with in the past. The type of material and the speed at which you sew out some of these designs makes a difference too. I was not sure how 'cute' you needed them to be...
Good Luck. Let me know if I can be of help.

Silver,

Thank you very much for digitizing my text strings that I want to use on some mini-quilts. I'll do some test stitching first, but I'm sure they'll be fine.

I really do appreciate your help. VERY MUCH! Wink Wink Laughing Laughing

Best Regards,

Darlene

If for any reason these do not work just let me know.
I am glad that I could be of some help.

ps I always mention to everyone to test sew things first not because I doubt your abilities in any way.... I am just SO paranoid that I would be the reason somebody's beautiful work would get messed up! Shocked

Ah, test sewing should be done with each new design, no matter who the digitizer was. Even the best designs can be messed up by the wrong settings on the machine, improper stabilization, or even thread choice.

Thank you, Silver, for taking the initiative on getting these text lines out for dsimmons. I was going to tackle them tonight, and I hate to admit it but I'm glad that I won't have to.

We had a long day today because we went and picked up our new freezer (hubby didn't want to pay $60 to have it delivered when we could do it ourselves: read as Hubby and father-in-law, not preggers Mommy.) Liam went to gramma's house for the duration, but we still had to wash the whole thing inside and out, make sure it was level, and all that fun stuff. I'm completely exhausted! But it will be so wonderful to be able to go to the grocery and not have to wonder if I will be able to fit all my frozen foods into our dinky little freezer compartment on our refrigerator. Laughing

I hope I didn't step on your toes CutiePie. I just figured things must be in chaos mode for you by now! My digitizing skills probably could not even hold a candle to yours. Embarassed
I was just at the right place at the right time with a rare thing...some spare time!!! lol
I love lettering and think it is an often over looked aspect of design. Most people think only of it when they want a logo, or to monogram something like towels. I think that sometimes even a simple world sewn on an article of clothing or a piece of textile art can carry a lot of weigh. Sometimes a word or two can provoke thought, a short phrase can have an impact on people.
I can sure feel for you CutiePie. When very pregnant with my first child we bought our first home... one that needed all sorts of remodeling. I remember my husband and father in law making a list of all the things I needed to accomplish by a set time one day... I just laughed and handed them back their list lol.

Nope, no toes were stepped on, Silver. I am grateful to you for "stepping up" on this request. I hate to leave people hanging when it is something I can help with, but I just didn't have the time/energy this time around.

Never worry that you might hurt my feelings or anything just because you might be able to respond quicker than I. You have my complete "permission" to step in whenever you wish, ok? Laughing
