Hi All,
I am looking for a .pes to .dst or .tap converter. I have a Happy machine and a ton of .pes files that I need to convert. Is there software that I can get to do this? If so where?

thanks in advance

Mason282, there certainly is software that will allow you to convert your designs. I don't know about the .tap format, but the .dst is very common. Do a web search for Wilcom TrueSizer and download that program. It is a good conversion program, and best of all, it's free!

I just double-checked, and while it takes a few more steps, yes it can. You just click to open the .art file, and it will say that it can't use that machine format, but to choose another format. There will be a short list of alternates. Go ahead and choose "Melco" and it will open the file. Then, go to "Save As" in the File menu. The default for the program is to save it as an .emb file, but if you scroll down, you can choose a wide variety of formats (including the .tap format, it turns out). It will ask you what hoop size you desire, and when you select that, it will allow you to save the design in your new format. Very Happy
