Hi,
I am having no end of trouble getting the Jacobean Butterflies 2 to stitch out right. I am stitching them onto organza that is hooped with wash out stabilizer on both the top and the bottom.
The designs stitch out fine for both all the way to the end, when the "web stitching" and outline is being stitched, then that just doesn't seem to line up. Is it a problem with my machine, or is it the design itself?
I am doing these for organza bags.

When the final outline doesn't match up, it is usually a case of insufficient support. What type of WSS (wash-out stabilizer) are you using? Is it the type that is white and looks rather like interfacing, or is it the clear kind that looks like saran wrap? The clear kind won't give you the amount of stability that you need with organza for these designs.
Am I reading correctly that you are using two layers of stabilizer around one layer of organza? You might consider two layers of organza, placed with the grain running perpendicular to each other. That will also decrease the amount of stretch the stitching is able to cause. Good luck, and post pictures when you are done! I'm sure lots of people would love to see your projects. _________________ -Forum Moderator-

Thanks.
I will try that in the morning. I usually use the white kind, but ran out, so I was using the clear stuff. My order of stabilizer came in today, so I will give it a go again tommorow. I will also try the two layers of organza.
Btw. The girly coin bag set are awsome! They stitch out so nice. I love the dress. I did tye dye fabric tonight and will do florals tommorow..
