I need so get some different feet for my machine. I have a Futra CE-100.
Plus I am killing myself with the cost of buying the different colors of thread. Can anyone recommend any where?

Where are you located? Is "Economy" a city? The best deals I have seen on thread are on ebay. I own a sewing machine store, and can't even get the thread they sell there for the price they are selling it at.

Yes, you can get some great deals on thread at Ebay, but you need to be sure that you check the seller's feedback before you purchase. There have been a few who sold second and third rate thread that broke all the time and customers were very unhappy about it.

As for buying additional feet for your machine, I recommend that you contact the dealer who sold it to you. If that isn't an option, do a search for the Futura on the web and see what kinds of feet are available/compatable. Then, you can search sites that offer those for sale. "In person" is easiest for things like machine feet, but not always practical. Laughing

I have honestly purchased all my thread and feet from Ebay. Sounds silly but, I have had extremely good luck. Also totally agree with Cutie pie on the watch to make sure the seller is a good one remember to check the feed back before hand.

Would you be willing to tell me the ebay store or user id of the thread you purchased? I have been debating on buying a large set of thread from ebay. The cost is unbelievable, but I have been afraid of getting 2nd rate quality thread and ruin my machine.

Thanks!

www.bfc-stash.com has Admelody poly and rayon threads for about $1.75. I have not ordered them yet, as I do have a nice supply of Floriani and Isacord already, but I did contact them and ask about it. They use this thread for all their embroidery,it is apparently imported and they are now almost the only importers of it. If you look at their website for designs, bfc-creations (I think) and see the complex work they do, I would think they'd want to use the best thread possible. The range of colors, even in the polyester, is outstanding; the rayon is even more unbelievable. They have a very professional website, over 6000 customers and produce incredibly artistic designs. As I said, I can't speak to the actual quality of the thread because I haven't used it yet, but check out what they do with it and judge for yourselves. Unlike any sellers on ebay, you know these ladies aren't going anywhere off into cyberland. Not to knock ebay, because there are lots of reputable sellers, but you do have to be so sure of that. Check, check, check again. Marji
