My bobbin case tension screw is loose
can it just vibrate loose? :oops:
Awful thread mess on top and bottom of the design.
Top is spitting out excess thread!
Yes,
Changed thread,
bobbin,
needle
cleaned out
the shuttle and bobbin case.
Any other suggestions?

Any screw that is subjected to vibrations can just "jiggle" loose. I always keep a little screwdriver handy, just in case.

As for suggestions about your thread issues, did you "floss" your tension disks? If you get even a tiny thread fragment stuck in there, it will mess up the works. Beyond that, I would say maybe it needs to be looked at by your dealer. I know that my dealer offers a $30 "tune-up" service, where they don't actually go looking for things to fix, but just do a cleaning and lube job. That might be worth while for you. Any other suggestion ? Take a large drink and try again, continue doing that till problem solved. Keep doing that untill you need to go to bed, then by tomorrow problem solved itself, maybe or at least you are having fun solving it. Sorry could not resist !!
