With the free designs that are offered here and other places, I save alot of them to my hard drive, but lo' and behold...they are taking up a ton of room. Does anyone burn their patterns to a CD, flash drive, any other medium?

Yes, I burn my patterns to CD's. I have a separate CD for each digitizer/site that I get them from, so I don't get confused. I also save the jpgs that coordinate with the designs so that I can see what the design should look like (colors, etc) at a glance, in case my system changes the colors on me. Plus, it's just easy to find what I want. Very Happy

Hello Karin,
welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I put my designs in folders with names that say what is in them. For instance: children, sporst etc. Within the folders I have other folders to specify the different types of designs.
And once in a while I burn them on a RW disc so that I can make them over when my files have grown.

Greetings Saskia from Holland

I do both. Save to computer and to cd, just like Saskia. Just in case computer breakes down, donīt want to loose all my designs.

That is my fear too. I would hate to lose everything.
