I have done embroidery on many towels and seldom have a problem. I recently did the tow truck and one of the cars in the "Funky Cars" set and noticed while they were stitching that there were no base or foundation stitches laid down before the area was filled in. The end result was quite a mess because the terry didn't lay right under the stitches (with stabilizer on the top and good one on the bottom, tight, etc - never had a problem with others' designs that laid down the foundation stitches, done on towels). What I ended up with was gaps and outlines not in the right places. I don't want to attempt more of the Funky Cars and have this happen and am wondering if all your designs have no foundation stitches? I could attempt to add them with my 3D Embroidery but I don't have the digitizing software and don't want to alter designs if I shouldn't do that.

Please remember that it is ILLEGAL to send designs that you don't hold the copyright on to ANYONE. That means that while it is a nice offer, it would be illegal to send any of Shawn's designs to this company to have them alter/add understitching to them.

The best thing that you can do if purchased designs do not live up to your expectations is to contact the digitizer or site owner (in this case by going to http://www.designsbysick.com/contact and using the email addresses at the bottom) to both let them know of the problem and to ask for assistance in rectifying the situation. Shawn and Erna are great about solving problems, if you make them aware that there is a problem to begin with. Very Happy
